SPIDEROAK –
CLOUD BACKUP SOLUTION
SpiderOak is a company that focuses on enterprise security for small to mid-sized businesses offering products like secure communication and collaboration with instant messaging and forensically secure log data.
CHALLENGES:
SpiderOak was proposing to modernized their current legacy cloud backup solution and demonstrate how the new functionalities would be built using their current design and programing language with on updated UX and UI design.
PROCESS:
I was recruited to provide UI mockups translating the art direction on each screen given by the client. My task required to redesign the Backup Dashboard, Backup Selection, Data Recovery, and the Management Features screens. Each had to show an updated UI with modernized functionalities based off current backup systems. All while keeping in mind the limits due to keeping all backups fully secured by SpiderOaks systems.
I did not limit my self to providing mockups of each redesigned screen and provided client with a prototype to elevate their proposal and fully show the functionalities of the UX.
